Hi guys, welcome to the podcast, I Like Your Work. I Like Your Work is dedicated to having conversations with artists, curators and collectors. People involved in a creative lifestyle and also in building and supporting community with in the arts.
The reason I decided to start I Like Your Work, is because I am lucky to know amazing creators and I want to connect with more people who make work that I enjoy. A year and a half ago, I helped start MUSA Collective in Boston, an artist collective that connected thirteen local artists and supported them as they mounted solo shows and gave artist talks. I was blown away by what can happen when we support each other. Personal growth, opportunities and feeling like you are part of something bigger than yourself. This experience made me want to connect on a larger scale and I Like Your Work was born.
This season I will be sharing conversations with artists from Boston, Brooklyn, California, Ohio, Minnesota and Philadelphia. I will be speaking with painters, collectors, digital artists and entrepreneurs. Some of the interviews are done in their studio, others on Skype. What I have been able to walk away with is such an appreciation for others. Their story, their thoughts, and why they do what they do. I hope you will join me as I talk to some incredible people and share their work.
